The Role
The Data Manager will be responsible for managing and modernizing the business’s real estate data management processes. This role will involve acquiring, cleaning, validating, organizing, analysing and visualizing data, to provide valuable insights to internal teams and external clients. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in data management tools, particularly Power BI or Tableau

Key Responsibilities
- Data Acquisition:
- Identify, source, and collect relevant real estate data from various internal and external sources.
- Ensure data quality and completeness through effective data acquisition strategies.
- Data Cleaning and Validation:
- Clean and validate data to eliminate errors, inconsistencies, and missing values.
- Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to maintain data accuracy.
- Data Organization and Storage:
- Organize and structure data in a clear and efficient manner, ensuring easy accessibility and retrieval.
- Establish effective data storage and management systems to safeguard data integrity.
- Data Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
- Utilize statistical techniques and data mining tools to extract meaningful information.
- Data Visualization:
- Create visually appealing and informative data visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Develop interactive dashboards to enable users to explore data and gain insights.
- Development of Data Insight Reports:
- Prepare comprehensive data reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Customize reports to meet specific business requirements and decision-making needs.
- Implementation of Data Management Tools:
- Implement and maintain data management tools and technologies to streamline processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data management and visualization.
Required Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate
- Proven experience in data management, analysis, and visualization
- Strong proficiency in data cleaning, transformation, and modeling techniques
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and data querying languages
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools, particularly Power BI or Tableau
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and presentation skills
Preferred Experience
- 3 - 5 years' experience
- Experience in real estate or related industry
- Hands-on experience with data mining and if possible machine learning techniques
- Proficiency in Python or R programming languages
- A portfolio of data visualization projects demonstrating technical skills and creativity
