Graduate Surveyor (Residential Valuations)

We are seeking a skilled Graduate Valuation Surveyor to join our team, specializing in residential property valuations, including apartments and villas. The role involves conducting valuation assignments from inspection to reporting, ensuring accurate market insights and high-quality advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:
- To carry out property valuations for mainly Residential assets; apartments and villas in addition to occasional commercial asset valuations such as offices (existing property and new build), ensuring correct advice and guidance is provided on market values.
- Work closely with senior surveyors and internal teams to deliver high-quality services to clients.
- To conduct valuation assignments, including inspection, valuation, report writing.
- To collate information from internal and external sources on the Middle East property markets
- To collaborate with other departments to obtain and provide data on markets.
- To develop relationships with companies, institutions and other bodies with a view to offering Savills Middle East capabilities and obtaining information on ongoing or future work
- Contribute to fee income commensurate with role and as set by the line manager.
- Produce high quality work, presenting information accurately and succinctly both orally and in draft reports.
- Coordinate and manage instructions, specifically the turnaround time whilst maintaining quality control.
- Manage multiple instructions at the same time efficiently and effectively.
- Escalating issues to service line Directors and Surveyors as required
- Handling any property inquiries and reporting suitable options to the client
- Support the team in achieving their departmental set goals and objectives.
- Attend internal and external networking events (CPD)
- Contribute to business development through networking and client interactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Must be educated to bachelor’s in real estate, Surveying and/or master’s level (RICS Accredited)
- Must be looking to pursue the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to become a Chartered Member of RICS (Valuation)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Driving license holder (UAE or one that can be easily transferred)
- 2- 3 years’ experience in the UAE highly preferred
- Have a keen interest in the property market with sound business knowledge.
- Have a broad knowledge of principles, valuation methodologies and practices of related disciplines.
- Understand what generates revenue and makes profit.
- Strong analytical, reporting and time management skills.
- Proactive, detail oriented and an excellent team player
