The Role
This senior role requires a high-performing individual with in-depth knowledge of real estate markets in the GCC, strong leadership and business development skills, and the ability to build trusted client relationships. Ability to drive innovation, manage risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold the highest standards of client service.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategic Planning
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team.
- Set the vision, direction, and strategy for the valuations division aligned with company goals.
- Develop and implement business plans and operational models to ensure efficiency, growth, and profitability.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand service offerings and geographic coverage.
Business Development & Client Management
- Drive business development activities across public and private sectors, securing key mandates and long-term client relationships.
- Manage high-profile clients including investors, developers, banks, corporates, and government entities.
- Lead client pitches, presentations, and negotiations for complex advisory assignments.
Valuation Services
- Oversee valuation instructions for a variety of asset classes including residential, commercial, retail, industrial, hospitality, and land.
- Ensure compliance with RICS Valuation – Global Standards (Red Book) and local regulations.
- Guide the team in delivering robust and defensible valuations for financial reporting, financing, investment, or legal purposes.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the P&L of the department, prepare annual budgets and forecasts, and ensure profitability targets are met.
- Monitor project delivery, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Ensure risk management practices are applied across all advisory mandates.
- Maintain high standards of compliance with RICS, local regulatory bodies, and company policies.
- Lead internal quality assurance processes, peer reviews, and risk audits.
- Stay updated on regulatory, economic, and market developments affecting real estate valuation and consultancy.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- MRICS (Chartered Valuation Surveyor) qualification is essential.
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience in commercial real estate valuations.
- Demonstrated success in leading and growing a valuations business unit.
- Strong knowledge of the GCC property markets and relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficient in valuation and financial modelling software (e.g., Argus, Excel, GIS tools).
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
