Analyst – Strategic Consultancy

The Strategic Consultancy division specializes in market research, project feasibility, and investment advisory for both local and international clients, while also contributing to Savills’ global research network. Key Responsibilities
1. Project Execution
- Conduct primary and secondary market research to assess supply-demand dynamics, pricing trends, occupancy rates, and market positioning across different asset classes.
- Support the design and implementation of surveys, interviews, and site assessments to collect market intelligence from developers, brokers, investors, and end-users.
- Develop and maintain financial feasibility models, incorporating project-specific assumptions such as development cost, revenue projections, pricing, and phasing.
- Apply valuation techniques including DCF, IRR, NPV, payback period, and sensitivity analyses to evaluate project viability.
- Prepare structured and visually engaging reports, presentations, and data decks, summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Valuations, Project Management, and Transactions to ensure consistency of data and deliverables.
- Assist in client presentations, proposal preparations, and internal review sessions by providing analytical and research support.
2. Research for Savills Global
- Collect, verify, and maintain market and economic data for inclusion in Savills’ global research outputs.
- Track and analyze trends in real estate performance indicators such as rents, yields, capital values, and absorption rates.
- Prepare regional data submissions, charts, and dashboards for Savills’ global and regional offices.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Preference for candidates with strong analytical and quantitative academic backgrounds.
- Experience:
- 1–2 years of professional experience or internships in management consulting, investment analysis, financial advisory, or real estate research.
- Experience in financial modelling or research-based project work is an advantage.
- Professional Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
- CFA (Level I or higher), RICS (Candidate or Affiliate), or ACCA.
Technical and Professional Skills
- Sound understanding of corporate finance and valuation principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and familiarity with Google Earth.
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret data, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective team player with the capacity to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a dynamic consulting environment.
- Willingness to travel for site visits, surveys, and client meetings.
