Facilities Management Coordinator

We are seeking a competent and forward-thinking Facilities Management Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations and maintenance activities across assigned assets. The role involves coordinating service providers, monitoring building systems, conducting inspections, and assisting in the delivery of FM services in line with defined KPIs and SLAs.
Based on-site daily, the Facilities Management Coordinator will work closely with the Facilities Management team, Property Managers, and Savills Abu Dhabi leadership to ensure smooth operational performance across the portfolio. Strong attention to detail, technical knowledge, proactive maintenance management, and responsiveness to tenants’ needs are essential.
The successful candidate will support the coordination of FM and maintenance services, helping to maintain high service standards, minimise system downtime, and ensure the effective operation of MEP systems, BMS, life-safety equipment, common areas, and tenant services, including maintenance requests and move-ins/move-outs.
Key Responsibilities
Support compliance with FM policies, procedures, HSE requirements, and technical guidelines
Coordinate and monitor FM and maintenance services across assigned assets in line with SLAs, KPIs, and client expectations
Conduct regular property inspections, ensuring findings and recommendations are properly documented
Monitor MEP systems, BMS alarms, utilities performance, and system downtime, ensuring issues are reported and resolved promptly
Use CAFM and related systems to raise, track, and close maintenance requests and work orders
Assist with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) scheduling and contractor coordination
Support fit-out works, site inspections, contractor access, and project coordination across commercial and residential units
Manage tenant maintenance requests and support smooth move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and handovers
Maintain high presentation standards across common areas and ensure soft services meet expected quality standards
Support emergency response procedures and ensure compliance of life-safety systems and equipment
Prepare FM reports, operational updates, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and contractor performance
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Minimum 2–3 years FM or building engineering experience with quality providersHolds a valid UAE driving licence and drives a personal vehicle – essential, as the role covers multiple sites across the Abu Dhabi portfolio and requires regular travel between assets
Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi regulatory compliance, including Abu Dhabi Civil Defence, ADM, TAQA, and relevant FM regulations, as well as key contractors & providers
Experience in FM operations ideally high-end or premium buildings
Understanding of tenants’ expectations, comfort standards, and lifestyle service delivery
Demonstrable proficiency in operational and performance reporting is essential
Strong written reporting and analytical communication skills
Experience supervising MEP systems in mixed-use buildings (chillers, pumps, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems)
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with tenants
Highly literate with strong communication skills - able to easily converse & adapt dialogue respectively with contractors, property managers, tenants and present to clients
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) –with a strong focus on creating professional client reports and analysis dashboards
Experience using AutoCAD and CAFM systems or any other tech platforms
