Graduate Surveyor (Residential)

A Graduate Surveyor specialising in valuations for loan security and financial reporting. The Surveyor will work with a wide range of clients including local, international and private banks, private wealth customers, local and international companies, and Government Departments.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' valuation experience within the UAE real estate market, including at least one year specialising in residential valuations. They will either be planning to commence or currently pursuing the APC with the aim of achieving AssocRICS or MRICS status. RERA Registered Valuer status is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out property valuations for land, apartments and villas including existing properties, new developments and assets under construction, ensuring accurate advice and guidance is provided on market values
Conduct valuation assignments from inspection to completion, including inspections, valuation analysis, report writing, client meetings and presentations
Collate information from internal and external sources on Middle East property markets
Maintain valuation databases by coordinating with research and valuation team members
Collaborate with other departments to obtain and provide market intelligence and data
Prepare reports and analyses based on data collected from valuation assignments
Develop relationships with companies, institutions and other stakeholders with a view to promoting the firm's capabilities and identifying new business opportunities
Contribute to fee income commensurate with the role and targets set by the line manager
Produce high-quality presentations and reports, presenting information accurately and succinctly both verbally and in writing
Coordinate and manage valuation instructions, ensuring turnaround times are met whilst maintaining quality standards
Manage multiple assignments simultaneously in an efficient and effective manner
Escalate issues to the Head of Department or senior members of the team, where appropriate
Handle residential property enquiries and identify suitable options for clients
Support the wider team in achieving individual and departmental goals and objectives
Attend internal and external networking and CPD events
Assist in expanding the client base and developing business with existing client contacts
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree (RICS-accredited preferred)
Degree in Real Estate, Property, Valuation, Surveying or a related discipline would be advantageous
RERA Registered Valuer status is highly desirable.
Minimum 2 years' valuation experience within the UAE real estate market
At least 1 year of residential valuation experience, including apartments and villas
Experience undertaking valuation assignments for loan security, financial reporting and/or advisory purposes is advantageous
UAE driving licence holder (mandatory)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Sound business knowledge, particularly within the real estate and valuation sectors
Broad knowledge of valuation principles and property market practices
Understanding of revenue generation and profitability
Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
Excellent reporting, organisational and time-management skills
Proactive, self-motivated and an excellent team player
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines
Based in the UAE or willing to relocate
Candidates pursuing or intending to pursue RICS APC qualification will be viewed favourably
