The Role
To lead the design and delivery of high-quality BI dashboards, semantic data models, intelligent automations and AI-enabled analytical solutions that provide trusted insight, improve operational efficiency and support better decision-making across Property Management Middle East.
The role will be responsible for translating business requirements into clear visual reporting solutions, shaping data models and reporting architecture, and working with PMIT development and data architecture teams to ensure BI products are scalable, governed and modernised through AI technologies.
The role will work closely with the wider PMIT development, integration and data architecture teams to ensure dashboards and reporting products are underpinned by robust data structures, fit-for-purpose architecture, reliable pipelines and clear governance.
While some knowledge of C#/.NET or web technologies is useful, this is not primarily a software development role. These skills are only required where Power BI reports or analytical outputs need to be securely embedded, wrapped or presented through client portals and digital platforms.

Build engaging reporting experiences that allow users to move from headline insight to detailed analysis.
Work with stakeholders to define meaningful KPIs, measures and visual narratives that align with business objectives.
Ensure dashboards are professional, consistent, performant and suitable for senior leadership, operational teams and external client audiences.
Promote standardised dashboard design patterns, templates and reusable visual components.
B. Data Architecture, Modelling & Semantic Layer Design
Design and maintain robust data models that support scalable, trusted and reusable reporting.
Develop well-structured Power BI semantic models using appropriate relationships, measures, dimensions and calculation logic.
Create and optimise DAX measures, Power Query transformations and analytical models.
Work with the PMIT data architecture team to align BI reporting layers with wider enterprise data architecture.
Support the definition of data marts, curated reporting datasets and reusable analytical views.
Help shape data architecture principles for reporting, including consistency, lineage, ownership, quality and reusability.
Ensure reporting models are designed to reduce duplication, improve trust and support self-service analytics where appropriate.
Contribute to data standards, naming conventions, modelling patterns and semantic layer governance.
C. Collaboration with PMIT Development & Data Teams
Work closely with PMIT developers, data engineers, integration specialists and solution architects.
Ensure dashboards are supported by appropriate data pipelines, integrations and architectural patterns.
Collaborate on the secure embedding of Power BI reports into client portals and digital products.
Provide BI and data modelling expertise into broader PMIT delivery initiatives.
Support technical design discussions where reporting products depend on APIs, portals, integration platforms or application data sources.
Ensure that BI products can be supported, maintained and evolved by the wider PMIT team.
Document dashboard logic, data sources, model design, measures and ownership clearly.
D. Governance, Quality & Performance
Promote trusted reporting through clear data definitions, lineage, ownership and quality controls.
Ensure dashboards and datasets follow appropriate governance, security and access control standards.
Monitor and improve report performance, including model efficiency, refresh times and visual performance.
Identify and resolve issues relating to data quality, duplication, inconsistent definitions or poor reporting design.
Support the development of BI standards and best practice across PMIT and Property Management.
Ensure reporting products are supportable, documented and aligned with agreed architectural principles.
Contribute to the controlled transition from local or unsupported reports to governed, PMIT-endorsed reporting products.
E. Portal Integration & Light Development Support
Support the embedding or presentation of BI outputs within client portals and digital products.
Work with developers to ensure reports are wrapped, surfaced or integrated securely and effectively.
Provide enough understanding of C#/.NET, APIs or web application concepts to collaborate with software engineers.
Contribute to technical conversations around authentication, permissions, user experience and report access.
This role is not expected to be the primary developer for business applications, APIs or complex software services.
F. Automation & AI-Driven Analytics
Lead the evolution of reporting from static dashboards towards intelligent, AI-enhanced decision support solutions.
Combine business intelligence, automation and AI capabilities to transform how operational and client data is consumed across the organisation.
Partner with PMIT's Data Architecture, Integration and Development teams to embed AI within reporting, workflows and client-facing products.
Shape the roadmap for AI-enabled analytics, ensuring solutions align with business priorities, governance requirements and PMIT technology strategy.
Deliver measurable efficiency gains through automation of reporting, data preparation, validation and insight generation processes.
Act as a subject matter expert on how Microsoft AI technologies can be applied to Property Management, Client Accounting and Real Estate data.
