Associate Director- Property Management Finance
The Role
The Associate Director – Property Finance will provide strategic financial leadership across the Property Management business, ensuring strong financial governance, portfolio performance, commercial insight, and high-quality client service.
The role will act as a senior finance business partner to the Property Management leadership team and key clients, providing financial analysis and recommendations to support asset performance, business planning, risk management, and long-term value creation. The role will also lead and develop the Property Finance team and contribute to the growth and strategic development of the business.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide strategic financial leadership and oversight across the Property Management portfolio, ensuring financial integrity, performance, and effective governance.
· Lead the budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management process, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management and clients.
· Monitor portfolio financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and drive initiatives to improve profitability, cost efficiency, cash flow, and overall financial performance.
· Act as a senior financial advisor to key clients, Property Management leadership, and internal stakeholders, providing commercially focused advice and managing complex financial matters and escalations.
· Ensure robust financial controls, compliance, risk management, audit readiness, and high standards of financial reporting across the portfolio.
· Lead, develop, and mentor the Property Finance team, ensuring clear accountability, strong technical capability, effective resource planning, and a high-performance culture.
· Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, reporting, systems, automation, and controls to enhance efficiency, data quality, and client experience.
· Partner with senior leadership on strategic business initiatives, including business planning, transformation, new business opportunities, tenders, and client proposals.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with senior clients and stakeholders, contributing to client retention, service excellence, and business growth.
Represent Property Finance at senior internal and external meetings and contribute to the wider strategic objectives of Savills Egypt.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
· 10+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably within property management, real estate, asset management, or professional services.
· Proven experience in a senior finance management or leadership role, including team management and development.
· Strong technical accounting knowledge with extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis.
· Strong commercial and strategic acumen with the ability to translate financial information into business insight and recommendations.
· Excellent client and stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
· Advanced Excel and strong ERP/financial systems experience.
· Excellent command of English.
· Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
