Senior Accountant

We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the financial management of our property management portfolio in Saudi Arabia. This role covers the full accounting cycle for managed assets, including client accounting, rent and service charge invoicing, collections reporting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
As part of the growing Savills Property Management platform in Saudi Arabia, you will work closely with property managers and client teams to deliver accurate and timely financial information to landlords, ensuring full compliance with ZATCA requirements, IFRS, and Savills accounting policies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting for assigned properties, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end and year-end closing.
Prepare and issue rent and service charge invoices in line with lease terms, ensuring compliance with ZATCA e-invoicing requirements.
Monitor accounts receivable and support collections by maintaining aged debt reports, allocating receipts, and flagging arrears for escalation.
Process accounts payable for property-related expenditure, verifying supplier invoices against contracts, purchase orders, and approved budgets.
Perform bank, client account, and intercompany reconciliations, ensuring client monies are handled in line with trust accounting requirements.
Support service charge accounting, including budget uploads, expenditure tracking, accruals, and year-end reconciliations for managed assets.
Prepare monthly client financial reports, including income statements, variance analysis against budget, and cash flow summaries.
Ensure compliance with VAT, withholding tax, and Zakat requirements, and support internal and external audits with documentation and analysis.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Highly accurate – maintains rigorous attention to detail across reconciliations, reporting, and documentation.
Problem solver – able to resolve invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting discrepancies through to closure.
Strong communicator – capable of explaining financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Deadline-driven – able to manage month-end close and multiple reporting cycles across a portfolio of assets.
Team player – works closely with property management, leasing, and FM teams while taking ownership of assigned entities.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
4–6 years of accounting experience, ideally including experience in real estate or property management in KSA or the GCC.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; experience with ERP or property management systems (e.g., Yardi, Oracle, SAP) is an advantage.
Working knowledge of KSA VAT, ZATCA e-invoicing, and IFRS is required.
Fluency in English is essential, both spoken and written; Arabic is highly preferred.
Based in Riyadh, with occasional travel to managed assets within the Kingdom as required.
Valid driving licence and reliable transportation.
