The Role

We are looking for a candidate to support the IT team in delivering on-site and remote workstation support and in maintaining the business's core systems, while building hands-on experience under the guidance of senior team members. The role is based in our newly renovated Dubai Media City, Arenco Tower office and the office working hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Service desk support: Log incidents and requests in ServiceNow, capturing user details and issue descriptions accurately. Resolve basic issues and escalate to the relevant team member when needed.

• Workstation and user support: Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting for laptops, desktops, printers, and Microsoft 365 applications. Guide users who are unfamiliar with tools or solutions.

• Basic user administration: Handle password resets and account unlocks, and assist with user set-up in Active Directory under supervision.

• Documentation and reporting: Update trackers, inventories, and incident records. Document common fixes and workarounds, and keep ticket status communicated to users.

• Learning and development: Shadow team members on system administration, CRM platform support, and routine reviews. Take part in team feedback sessions and complete assigned training.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (recent graduates welcome).

• Basic understanding of Windows, networking fundamentals, and Microsoft 365. Familiarity with Excel is expected. Exposure to ServiceNow, Active Directory, Power BI, SharePoint, or scripting (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is an advantage but not required.

• Eager to learn and adaptable, good problem-solving, polite and patient with users, clear written and verbal communication, and careful attention to detail in record-keeping.
